Information for prospective PhD students
I am looking for 1-2 PhD students to join my lab for the October 2027 intake. This year, I am particularly interested in students who want to work on modelling dynamic scenes and robotic manipulation. However, I might be open to other areas as well.
Please read the following points carefully before applying:
- I am a member of the Department of Engineering. If you apply to the Department of Computer Science and Technology or another department, I will not be able to access your application. Please use the correct application link.
- The Engineering course funding deadline is 8 December 2026 at 23:59 GMT. Submit your complete application, including supporting documents and references, by this deadline to be considered for this funding round. Individual scholarships may have earlier deadlines.
- All references must be submitted by the relevant application or funding deadline. Late references can make your application ineligible for funding. Please give your referees enough time and confirm that they know the deadline.
- You should also consider applying to the ELLIS PhD program to work with me. The ELLIS deadline is 31 October 2026. Remember to also apply directly to Cambridge.
- Feel free to email with details. I might not be able to reply to every email, but I will make sure to read it, and a lack of reply does not mean a lack of interest. In any case, I will go through all applications that mention my name.
